MATSUDA – Old World Technique, New World Expression, Architects of Eyewear
Published on April 14, 2022
Mitsuhiro Matsuda is recognized as being one of the first designers to meld architecture with fashion.
All the designs are crafted by hand in Japan.
250 Steps, 71 hours, and 13 Craftsmen are needed to create a Matsuda frame. Each frame reflects a unique journey from concept to construction.
Each finished creation is an art object and is as pleasing to the hand as it is to the eye.
